School may be out for the summer, but Bottom Line is busy preparing to support more than 1,000 high school and college students who will be going back to school in September, and we need your help. All you need to do is bid on fun and exciting items, and you will help us change the lives of students in Boston and Worcester by making college dreams a reality. Not a bad deal!
Bottom Line is a non-profit organization that helps low-income and first-generation students in Massachusetts get in to college, graduate from college, and go far in life by providing one-on-one counseling from college applications to college graduation and beyond.
This is an exciting time for Bottom Line. This summer we are opening our first satellite office in Worcester, MA. This is the first of three expansion sites we will open in the next four years. And come winter, we are moving to a new office in Boston with twice as much space. Why are we expanding? Because there is an enormous demand for our services. 98% of our high school seniors get accepted to college and nearly 80% graduate in six years or less, and word is spreading. It's important that we can grow to meet the significant need in Boston, Worcester, and beyond. Starting on September 2, 2008, you will be able to help us grow by bidding on fun and unique items including stays at local hotels, dinners at restaurants, the best tickets in town to the Red Sox and Patriots, and a whole lot more.
